A Christmas tree stands on Avalon's 30th Street beach.
All are welcome to visit and place a decoration on the tree, or beneath it.

ICE SKATING - IN AVALON? Yes!  ICONA Avalon's Winter Wonderland at the Sandbar Village includes an ice-skating rink!  While the kids are skating, you can enjoy an outdoor fire pit, or drinks and treats from Avalon Brew Pub!  The Winter Wonderland is open Friday-Sunday through December 17th,  and it'll reopen again December 28th through February.

ADD A BIT OF SEASHORE TO YOUR HOLIDAY SEASON!  Many of your favorite shore merchants offer great holiday gifts and stocking stuffers.  Perhaps a box of fudge for the sweet tooth in the family?  Or maybe a pair of movie tickets from the Harbor Theater.  A gift card from a shore restaurant or shop is sure to delight.  Any of these treats will add a bit of seashore joy to your holiday!

AVALON & STONE HARBOR HOLIDAY BEACH TAGS are still available for purchase—and they make great stocking stuffers!  Avalon tags can be purchased at Avalon Borough Hall, Monday through Friday, from 8:15am to 4:15pm.  Stone Harbor tags can be purchased at Stone Harbor Borough Hall, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4pm.  Can't make it in person?  You can order your tags online, from Jersey Cape Tags!

TOYS FOR TOTS:  Our office is participating in the annual Toys for Tots campaign.  Help brighten the holiday of a child, who might otherwise go without, by donating a new, unwrapped toy.  There's a large donation box in our temporary office at 2307 Dune Drive, and another in our Stone Harbor office at 150 96th Street.  Stop by any time we're open and help  fill them up!

BOTH AVALON & STONE HARBOR are decked out for Christmas.  Dune Drive and 96th Street are both lined with lights and decorations; drive along either after dark and it'll make you feel good!  While you're visiting, consider a dinner at one of the many restaurants open during the winter.  Here is a sampling:  The Princeton; Rock 'n Chair; Polpo; Il Posto; Via Mare; Fred's Tavern; Ristorante Luciano; Spiaghetta; The Reeds at Shelter Haven.

FOR ANOTHER special treat, a visit to Cape May at Christmas time is always memorable.  Traditional Victorian charm combined with countless holiday lights and decorations is a sight to see.  If you have time, be sure to visit Congress Hall.  The beautiful seaside hotel hosts a Winter Wonderland featuring extensive interior and exterior decorations, a huge Christmas tree on the lawn, and even a carousel!

WANT TO PLAY SANTA THIS YEAR?  Book your family a vacation in Avalon or Stone Harbor.  Want to make it permanent?  Buy a shore property where your family will make memories that last forever!  Either way, call or email me!

The 28th season of The Santa Express is underway!  Cape May Seashore Lines runs dozens of Santa Express trains from stations in nearby Tuckahoe and Richland.  Ride aboard vintage rail equipment that used to carry passengers to the shore from Philadelphia—while Santa visits with children!  Info is below in my events list.

MORTGAGE LOAN LIMITS RAISED: Conventional mortgage loan limits were increased to $766,550 for Southern New Jersey and most of the Philadelphia area for 2024.  Loans at or above that level are considered "jumbo" loans.  Meanwhile, mortgage rates have decreased again, with both conventional and jumbo 30-year fixed rates dropping below 7% last week.

IF YOU'RE ABLE to do so, consider making a donation this season to a local organization that you appreciate.  Here are just some of the options that come to mind:  The Wetlands Institute; Cape May County Zoo; Stone Harbor Museum; Avalon History Center; Avalon Fire Department; Stone Harbor Fire Department; Cape May County Animal Shelter.  Even a small gift can make a big difference, and is greatly appreciated!

WHAT'S ON YOUR HOLIDAY WISHLIST?   Is it time to give your family the ultimate gift?  Give the gift of memories...purchase a shore property!
